Brick Stitch Pattern Native American Style Seed Bead Earrings with Fringe
Begin by creating a foundation row of beads. To do this, thread a needle with a length of thread and knot the end. Pick up a size 11/0 bead and thread it onto the needle. Bring the needle back up through the bead and pull the thread tight to create a loop. Pick up another size 11/0 bead and thread it onto the needle. Bring the needle back up through the second bead and pull the thread tight to create a second loop. Continue adding beads to the foundation row until it is the desired length.
Start the brick stitch pattern. To do this, pick up a size 15/0 bead and thread it onto the needle. Bring the needle back up through the first loop of the foundation row. Pick up another size 15/0 bead and thread it onto the needle. Bring the needle back up through the second loop of the foundation row. Continue adding beads to the brick stitch pattern until you have reached the end of the foundation row.
Turn the work and start the next row. To do this, pick up a size 11/0 bead and thread it onto the needle. Bring the needle back up through the first loop of the previous row. Pick up another size 11/0 bead and thread it onto the needle. Bring the needle back up through the second loop of the previous row. Continue adding beads to the brick stitch pattern until you have reached the end of the row.
